Abstract:
I will discuss recent results in the theory of compressible flows described
by Navier-Stokes equations focusing on problems with inhomogeneous boundary
data admitting inflow and outflow through the boundary.
Admission of inflow /outflow leads to substantial mathematical difficulties.
In particular there are no general existence results in the stationary
case in such situation what motivates investigation of small data problems
and simplified models.
