Existence of weak solutions to compressible Stokes system with general pressure

In the presentation I will talk about the existence and uniqueness of weak solutions to the compressible Stokes system. Using the Lagrangian formulation, we are able to prove that the solution is globally bounded, provided that the initial data are bounded. Moreover, our approach works for large class of general pressure laws. To obtain the existence of solutions, certain results from DiPerna & Lions transport theory are used.
