Our doctoral student Alicja Ziarko received this years' Google PhD Fellowship. Alicja is developing research on abstract levels of generalization in machine learning systems. She works under the supervision of Professor Piotr Miłoś.

The most prestigious conference in the field of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, NeurIPS, has accepted 10 papers with our Faculty affiliation for the event! Google DeepMind, a global leader in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning research, has for the fifth time funded two scholarships intended for female students who:

• Are commencing their second-cycle (Master’s) studies this academic year in one of the following fields at the University of Warsaw (UW): Bioinformatics and Systems Biology, Data Science and Business Analytics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or Applications of Physics in Biology and Medicine,

• Intend to prepare their Master’s thesis in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and their applications.
