In the first part of the talk I will recall the definition of a mixture of probability measures and give an overview of known results about stability under mixtures of functional inequalities (such as the Poincaré and the log-Sobolev inequality). Then I will present new results in the setting of transportation inequalities. Based on joint work with Radosław Adamczak and Dominik Kutek.
