Exhibition at Faculty's library
We warmly invite you to come and see at our Facult's Library two Christmas exhibitions:
- "Levitating Christmas tree" by dr Barbara Poszewiecka
and - MS Paint Art works entitled „Wesołych świąt! (Przepraszam za to, ale koledzy się uparli)” (eng.: "Merry Christmas! (Sorry about that, but my friends insisted)"), by Kamil Olszewski.
Workshop on AI and cognitive science
We invite you to the workshop "Compositionality and Reasoning in AI and Cognitive Science," which will take place on January 8th at the Staszic Palace. Speakers include Ian Pratt-Hartmann (U Manchester), Dieuwke Hupkes (Meta AI Research), and Andrea de Varda (MIT).

Call for applications: postdoctoral position in “Elliptic geometric variational problems” research project
We are announcing a competition for a postdoctoral position (assistant professor) in Sonata Bis “Elliptic geometric variational problems” research project, funded by the National Science Centre, Poland (2022/46/E/ST1/00328). Principal investigator: dr hab. Sławomir Kolasiński.
To apply for the position, the candidate should send an e-mail entitled "POST-DOC – SONATA BIS" to: s.kolasinski@mimuw.edu.pl, attaching the required documents in PDF file format, by 21 January, 2025.
