Algorithmic economics
Description
Algorithmic economics is an interdisciplinary field that combines economics, computer science, and artificial intelligence. It focuses on studying complex systems where independent participants pursue often conflicting goals. Designing algorithms for such systems does not always prioritize computational efficiency but also considers aspects like fairness among participants, stability, and resistance to strategic manipulation.
