This presentation introduces a fractional-order age-structured influenza model incorporating undocumented infections, vaccination dynamics, and atmospheric humidity effects. The system is formulated using the modified Atangana–Baleanu–Caputo fractional difference operator to capture memory effects in disease transmission. Positivity, boundedness, and disease-free equilibrium are established, and the basic reproduction number is derived. Parameter estimation is performed using epidemiological data from Madrid, Spain. Sensitivity
analysis and optimal control via Pontryagin's Maximum Principle are applied to evaluate vaccination strategies. Results indicate that fractional dynamics improve long-term epidemic prediction and provide deeper insight into transmission mechanisms.
