In this talk, we will be interested in some concavity properties of solutions of the equation - \Delta u = f(u). Differently from the standard literature, the fact that f(t) < 0 for t ≈ 0 creates some evident troubles. The journey will be an occasion to talk about concavity properties in general PDEs. This talk is based on a joint work with Sunra Mosconi and Marco Squassina.
