Student ID card and mLegitymacja (eID card)

If you have lost or damaged your student card, or if you have used all marked fields on the back to place holograms to extend its validity, send a request for a duplicate to the Student Office (cost: 33 PLN)

Write in the title of the transfer: payment for the issue of an ELS duplicate and indicate your name.

During the validity period of your plastic ID card, It is also possible to have an electronic version of the student ID - Electronic Student Card (known as mLegitymacja/eID card). “mLegitymacja” is a mobile version of a student card having the same legal force as the traditional one. To download it, you need first to install the USOS Mobile and mObywatel applications on your mobile. (manual) .

An electronic version of the student ID (known as mLegitymacja/eID card) may be ordered by a student who meets all of the following criteria:

• has a valid Electronic Student ID - ELS (plastic);
• has a PESEL number and a student ID number;
• has an uploaded photo in the USOS system account;
• the student’s personal data has not changed since the release of the ELS.

Applications are successively transferred to the mObywatel system via USOS. Once they have been completed, a notification will appear in the USOS mobile application that Electronic Student Card (mLegitymacja) can be downloaded thanks to the QR and activation code received. One Electronic Student Card can be installed on one mobile only.

Renewing mLegitymacja (mobile version of you student card = eID card): If the validity of your student ID card has been extended for another semester and mLegitymacja expires in less than a month, USOS will allow mLegitymacja to be extended. This way, you do not need to wait till mLegitymacja expires, risking not being able to order and install it on your mobile phone in time.
