Normal numbers

We will discuss classical results relating to normal numbers.  In particular we will emphasize connections with ergodic theory, fractal geometry, and computability theory.  Additionally, normality for continued fraction expansion, $\beta$ expansions, L\"{u}roth series expansions, and Cantor series expansions will be discussed.
