We consider Boolean algebras generated by families that can be decomposed into countably many pieces so that no part contains an infinite independent sequence. The property is denoted by WRN because it is closely related to the class of weakly Radon-Nikodym compacta. We investigate WRN Boolean algebras and topological properties of their Stone spaces. Joint work with A. Aviles and G. Martinez Cervantes.
