All participants must register. The registration fee includes:
- summer school attendance (10-15.09.2019),
- lunches and coffee breaks (10-15.09.2019),
- hotel accommodation within walking distance from the venue (09-16.09.2019, single room with breakfast).
Travel costs are not included in the registration fee and are the responsibility of each participant.
The early registration fee, available until August 05, is 1600PLN (approx. 375EUR at the current exchange rates). The late registration fee is 1900PLN (approx. 445EUR).
Participants are urged to register before August 20. After that date, we may not be able to guarantee accommodation in the school hotel.

We are able to offer a limited number of scholarships to participants who have difficult access to funding. These scholarships will cover the entire registration fee. If you wish to apply for one, please write to us (fopss19@mimuw.edu.pl). We will ask you to provide a short motivation letter and a reference from your PhD advisor. The scholarships will be awarded with preference to participants from institutions in economically developing countries, and to other participants with difficult access to funding.
Registration proceeds in three phases.
First, you have to fill in and submit the registration form.
Then, you proceed with the payment via bank transfer.
Finally, a registration confirmation will be sent by email when the payment has been received by the Organizing Committee. The registration fee payment must be received within 5 working days from the date your registration form is submitted, otherwise your registration is considered invalid. In such a case, a registration invalidation email will be sent by the Organizing Committee and the entire registration process has to be repeated.

Important: The title of payment must have the specific format: the prefix FOPSS followed by your first name, followed by your last name, as specified in the registration form. For international money transfers, please make sure that the transfer is free of charge for the beneficiary. This option is usually called 'OUR'.
All cancellations must be in writing by sending email to the Organizing Committee. For cancellation requests received on or before August 15, 2019, 50% of the payment will be refunded. After August 15, no refund is guaranteed.
If for reasons beyond the control of the Organizing Committee the FoPSS 2019 school is cancelled, the registration fee might be partially refunded (after expenses already incurred by FoPSS 2019 have been deduced).
