Summer School on Geometric Analysis and PDEs
We invite PhD students and postdocs to the Summer School on Geometric Analysis and PDEs, which will take place on June 22-27 in Chęciny. The registraction is open until the end of March.
Participation of master's students is also possible, but prior contact with Dr. Katarzyna Mazowiecka is recommended.

BioAI Hackathon
Join the first international BioAI Hackathon at the University of Warsaw on May 12-15, 2025!
The aim of the 4-day hackathon is to collaboratively address current challenges in biomedical research using new advanced AI approaches. The hackathon will be held at the Centre of New Technologies.
All PhD students, post-docs, and industry researchers are welcome to participate.

National Science Center grants awarded
We are proud to announce that two SONATA BIS grants are awarded to Marek Cygan (Robot generalist - advancing robot learning via reinforcement learning and VLAs) and Lorenzo Clemente (Analysis of quantitative models of computation).
Congratulations as well to Piotr Gwiazda for winning the MAESTRO grant for the project that will be implemented at ICM UW: Research challenges of partial differential equations inspired by state-of-the-art statistics and machine learning algorithms.

Spring school for MS and PhD students
On April 7-11, as a part of the Thematic Research Program (IDUB initiative) our Faculty organises a spring school "Quasicrystals - mathematical physics, ergodic theory, and topology of nonperiodic structures". Participation is free, but registration is required. Online participation is possible.
