Title:

On the fundamental group of plane curves and their invariants I and II

Abstract:

I will give slow introductory talk in two parts about fundamental groups. In the first part, I will explain basic concept like the Zariski-van Kampen theorem, the Alexander polynomial, the Milnor fiber and Zariski pairs. In the second part, I shall speak about dual curves and their geometry. Also I shall discuss the covering transformation.
