Singular collective dynamics
The aim of the project is to perform a multiscale (from microscopic through mesoscopic to macroscopic) mathematical analysis of models of collective dynamics. The project is focused on models with singular interactions and on the propagation of information for models with compactly supported range of interactions/communication. In particular the goal is to establish a realistic communication protocol with restricted connectivity.
Former projects
- -funded by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education grant no. 1617/MOB/V/2017/0,
- -Goal: Analyzis of micro- meso- and macroscopic models of consensus and synchronization under various communication protocols,
- -Description: The project was realised from 1.2018 to 6.2019 at the University of Maryland, College Park, where I was a postdoc of Eitan Tadmor. The project resulted in 5 papers in collaboration with Y.-P. Choi, R. Danchin, D. Kalise, P. Minakowski, J. Morales, P. B. Mucha, A. Peters, E. Tadmor, B. Wróblewski and E. Zatorska.
- -funded by the Polish National Science Center grant no. 2013/09/N/ST1/04113 (PRELUDIUM),
- -Goal: Proving well-posedness for the kinetic Cucker-Smale flocking model with singular communication weight,
- -Description: The project was realised from 2.2014 to 6.2017 during (and after) my Ph.D. studies at the University of Warsaw, supervised by Piotr B. Mucha. The project resulted in 4 papers in collaboration with J. Carrillo, Y.-P. Choi, P. B. Mucha and M. Pokorny.
